3D printing will be built in 18 days with 3D printing! The functioning of Ireland is popular

3D printed CBD suppositories: a new way to treat epilepsy

The first share of social housing printed in 3D in Ireland was completed and delivered in just 18 days, opening a new era of housing construction!

Recently, the first batch of social security housing built with 3D printing technology in Ireland was officially completed in Dundalk, and three families from the Lower County Council housing list are about to move.
The innovative residential project, led by Lurth County Council, is promoted to jointly by joint construction companies Harcourt Technology, Roadstone, Harcourt Architects and Lurth and Meath Education and Training Council (LMETB), aims to explore more efficient, economical and lasting means of building housing.
This construction adopts advanced 3D concrete printing technology and uses 3D COBOD construction print equipment for automated construction. From the digital building model, the 3D printer puts the layer of concrete materials per layer according to the design designs. In just 12 daysThe printing of the main structure is completed and the entire construction process, including subsequent installation and organization,It only took 18 days in total
Compared to traditional construction methods, this technology not only improves construction efficiency, but also considerably reduces labor and material costs, which makes the construction of housing more efficient and affordable. The three residential buildings in energy efficient in the project, built in the project are all structures in town with three two -story rooms, with the interior area of each house reaching 110 square meters, meeting the living needs of modern families.
Once the construction is completed, these dwellings succeeded in the conformity certification of the County Council of Lurth in December 2024, guaranteeing the quality and safety of the house.

The Council of the County of Lurth directs not only the advancement of the project, but also works with LMETB to provide local workers with training and an improvement of skills in 3D printing technology to cultivate professionals who will adapt to modern architectural trends in the future.
David Conway, CEO of the Council of the County of Lurth, said that the project was in line with the strategic objectives of the “housing for all” of Ireland and demonstrates how technological innovation can play an active role in the construction of social housing.
Justin Kinsella, Managing Director of Harcourt Technologies, stressed that the project fully demonstrates the enormous advantages of 3D printing technology in the field of construction, in particular in terms of efficiency and cost control.
Compared to traditional construction methods, this technology improves construction speed by 60%, while reducing the overall delivery time by 35%.
With the successful implementation of this project, Harcourt Technologies and Partner Roadstone Plan to promote this technology more to Ireland on a national level, in the hope of providing more affordable and lasting housing solutions across the country.
Today, the County Council of Lurth will organize an official delivery ceremony in Grange near to deliver keys at home to three local families.
In the future, with the continuous development of 3D printing construction technology, perhaps “rapid construction of the house” will become a reality, and the problem of housing shortage can be reduced more quickly.
