CUB3D sports shoes in limited edition:The collision of technology and fashion
Gucci has chosen 3D printing technology to create the intermediate sole of this sneaker. Selective Sluting Laser (SLS) technology is used to create a delicate grille structure inspired by polyhedra. The intermediate sole is made of several layers of exquisite structures woven together to form a smooth geometric shape.

The 3D shoe designer Matteo Burzio revealed that the unique geometric shape of the Gucci Cub3D was designed in the Rhino and Grasshopper software, then made in the intermediate sneaker sole via 3D printing. However, 3D printing is not only for aesthetic effects. SLS technology makes the intermediate sole not only lighter, but also has good shock amortization performance.

Another highlight of this shoe is that it combines technological innovation and sustainability. The stem is made of Demetra material, without animal, developed by Gucci. According to the manufacturer, the material is made up of 70% plant -based raw materials, mainly from renewable resources, ensuring environmental protection and shoe performance.

The superior design intelligently improves the appearance of the shoe with corrugated cutting panels, and the inner material is also composed of polyester at 88% and uses leather without tanning process without metal or chrome. Gucci said that since its first entry into the fashion industry in 2021, Demetra materials have been used in the production of a series of sports shoes and other accessories, which is a more in -depth exploration of sustainable development of the brand.

The Gucci Cub3D sneakers will be available in a limited edition, with only 20 pairs produced worldwide, and will be exclusively presented from April 16 to 21 at Gucci via the flagship store in Montenapoleone in Milan. The unique design and innovative crafts of this shoe make it a highly collective high -end shoe, and this is Gucci’s latest attempt in fashion and technology.
3D printing technology: Future trends in the fashion industry
With the continuous application of 3D printing technology in the fashion industry, more and more brands are starting to explore how to integrate this technology into the production of shoes and other products. Brands like Nike and Adidas have launched 3D printed sneakers, while Cub3d de Gucci also proves the importance that fashion brands attach to this emerging technology.
Although Gucci currently only uses 3D printing technology in the intermediate part of CUB3D, while technology continues to develop, the brand could launch more series of products using 3D printing technology in the future .

In general, GUCCI CUB3D represents not only brand innovation in fashion design, but also demonstrates its efforts in sustainable development and environmental protection. The launch of this limited edition sneaker will undoubtedly promote the application of 3D printing technology in the fashion industry and could become a trend in the design of shoes in the future.
