Reduced weight, increased foam volume up to200%
As shown in the figure below, for the same model, the weight of the model printed with lightweight TPU material is significantly lighter than that of the model printed with ordinary TPU material, with a decrease of about 54%.
This lightweight TPU material can foam during the printing process. The degree of foaming of the material can be changed by adjusting the printing temperature and printing speed. Therefore, compared with ordinary TPU materials, the foam rate can reach 200%. The same size TPU-LW can print more models and is more durable for users.
According to tests, when printing models of the same volume, 1 kg of TPU-LW is approximately equivalent to 2 kg of ordinary materials.

The softness and hardness of the model can be adjusted freely
By adjusting the printing temperature and printing speed of TPU-LW, the foaming degree of the filament can be changed. Under different foaming rates, the hardness of the printed model is also different. The hardness range is about 93A-77A, which can match. user needs in different usage scenarios.

Printing Precautions
1. Be sure to turn off the retraction function in the slitting software to avoid clogging the internal cavity of the print head. Since the lightweight TPU will continue to foam in the nozzle melt cavity at high temperatures, the shrink function will have almost no effect. . It is normal for drawing to occur when printing, you can use vase mode to reduce the impact of drawing on the model.
2. Foaming rate is positively related to printing temperature. That is, when the printing speed is fixed, the higher the printing temperature, the higher the foaming rate, and the corresponding extrusion rate should be reduced.
3. Since it is a flexible TPU material, the printing speed must be reduced for printing.
4. The hardness is different at different foaming temperatures and can be adjusted as needed.
